Watch the 2024-25 West Virginia Folklife Apprenticeship Showcases

In November, we celebrated the participants of the 2024-25 West Virginia Folklife Apprenticeship Program with two public showcases! In case you missed them, you can watch highlights from these events now on the West Virginia Folklife YouTube channel.

Thank you to the participants for sharing performances, demonstrations, and stories about their traditional art forms and apprenticeship experiences with the audiences. We especially want to thank filmmakers Rebecca Branson Jones and Clara Haizlett for creating such beautiful videos, photographer Mike Keller for capturing stunning images, and the staff at the West Virginia Humanities Council and Arthurdale Heritage for making these showcases possible.
